The stars and bars were flying from the backs of pickups at the Oklahoma State Capitol Saturday.

The video above shows supporters of the flag rallying on the capitol grounds.

We're told about 90 people met near I-40 and MacArthur and caravaned to the capitol to show their support for the Confederate flag.

As you know, flying the flag has been under scrutiny since the deadly shooting at a South Carolina church that killed 9 people.

The alleged gunman was a self-proclaimed white supremacist.

Following weeks of heated debate, South Carolina lawmakers voted to remove the Confederate flag from flying over their state capitol.

As many as 10,000 people jammed the streets around the statehouse there Friday to watch as the honor guard removed the flag.
