LOS ANGELES — A former Disneyland employee is accused of attempting to trade theme park tickets in exchange for sex with a minor, the Orange County District Attorney's Office said.

Darreck Michael Enciso, 27, was charged with one felony count of attempted lewd act upon a child, one felony count of contacting a child with intent to commit a specified sex crime, and one felony count of meeting a minor with the intent to engage in lewd conduct, KTLA reported.

On July 1, Enciso allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist seeking a woman willing to participate in sex acts in exchange for Disneyland tickets, a news release from the DA's office stated.

He was then accused of communicating with an undercover officer - whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl - regarding the sex-for-tickets proposition.

The pair allegedly agreed to meet up at a location on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach.

Officials say Encisco showed up at the prearranged location with condoms and Disneyland tickets.

Encisco, who worked at Disneyland at the time of the incidents, also allegedly posted other similar ads on Craigslist.

If convicted on the charges, Enciso faces a maximum sentence of four years and eight months in state prison, and would be registered for life as a sex offender.

Disneyland released a statement following his arrest, telling KTLA, “He was immediately relieved of his duties as a dishwasher.”
