Five Sooners, Four Cowboys on Preseason All-Big 12 Team

The Big 12 conference released its media preseason all-conference team on Wednesday, July 15th, and five Sooners and four Cowboys are on the list.

Three Oklahoma players made preseason All-Big 12 on offense:  running back Samaje Perine, wide receiver Sterling Shepard, and kick returner Alex Ross.

On defense, linebacker Eric Striker and defensive back Zack Sanchez made the team.

Oklahoma State had three players make it on the defensive side:   defensive lineman Emmanuel Ogbah, linebacker Ryan Simmons, and defensive back Kevin Peterson.

OSU junior college transfer running back Chris Carson was the  Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.
