President Obama leaves downtown Oklahoma City for El Reno

OKLAHOMA CITY - President Obama was in downtown Oklahoma City this morning, preparing for his trip to the federal prison in El Reno.

With the high-profile visit comes high security.

All of the streets around the Sheraton Hotel were blocked off for security purposes.

Authorities were thoroughly searching every vehicle that goes down Sheridan Ave between the Cox Convention Center and the Sheraton hotel.

The Presidential motorcade left downtown for El Reno around 9:30 a.m.
