4.4 magnitude earthquake felt across Oklahoma

ALFALFA COUNTY, Okla. — There was a sizable earthquake felt across the Sooner State on Monday.

The quake hit 15 km east of Cherokee, Okla. at 3:19 p.m.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.4.

There was also a recorded 3.2 8 km west of Pawnee, Okla. at 3:50 p.m., USGS reported.
