Jason Stone Credit: Oklahoma County Jail

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is facing additional charges after allegedly spitting on an officer.

On Wednesday, officers were called to the 2100 block of S.W. 26th St. after a witness reported a bicycle being stolen.

As police officers arrived at the scene, they spotted a man who matched the description of the alleged suspect.

Authorities detained 38-year-old Jason Stone, but the victim declined to press charges.

However, officials learned that Stone had a felony warrant out for his arrest.

According to the arrest affidavit, Stone became agitated while being taken to the Oklahoma County Jail and spit at the officer through the mesh portion of the cage.

In addition to the warrant, Stone was arrested on a charge of throwing human waste on a state, county or city employee.
