Update: Authorities identify motorcyclist killed in accident with semi-truck

UPDATE: Authorities say they have identified a man who was killed in an accident with a semi-truck.

According to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Ronald Jason Fox was heading southbound on Sunnylane Rd. when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a semi-truck.

Fox died at the scene.

 

NORMAN, Okla. – Emergency crews were called to an accident in Norman involving a motorcyclist.

Around 12 p.m. on Wednesday, paramedics rushed to a crash involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle near Porter and Indian Hills Rd.

According to initial reports, Norman police, fire and EMSSTAT are all responding to the accident.

Initial reports indicate the motorcyclist did not survive the crash.

Roads around the accident are closed, so drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
