An actress was recently confronted after she left her dog in a parked car.

Jennifer Beals, the star of 1983’s Flashdance, left her dog in a car in Vancouver on Wednesday, Global News reported.

When Beals returned to her car after about five minutes, she was confronted by a concerned passerby about leaving her pet, a large German Shepherd-type dog, in the car.

“It’s fine,” Beals said. “Thank you.”

In a video of the incident, the man lets Beals know he plans on reporting her.

According to Global News, temperatures reached around 77 degrees that day.

Global News says Beals representative was not available for comment.
