OKLAHOMA CITY -- Yesterday, we told you about plans to remove the last remaining remnants of the old Union Bus Station in downtown Oklahoma City.

The blue and white "bus station" sign outside the building on Main and Sheridan was completely taken down Thursday.

Officials say this is an effort to save the sign for future use.

The bus station, which opened in 1941, will now be demolished to make room for an office tower.
