‘I am killing you. Can you feel this?’ Police dispatcher overhears brutal attack
TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa police officers were able to stop a brutal attack after a 911 dispatcher overheard a man assaulting his elderly mother and his girlfriend.
A police report states that around 12:45 am. Saturday, a 911 dispatcher received a call in which they could hear a man assaulting multiple women.
During the call, the dispatcher says he heard a man demanding a woman’s cellphone or he would grab a crow bar, the Tulsa World reports.
At one point, the dispatcher says he heard the man say, “I am killing you. Can you feel this?”
When officers arrived at the home, they say they found 37-year-old Douglas Wayne Brewer, Jr. banging an elderly woman’s head on the ground.
When Brewer saw police officers, he ran out of the door and tried to get away.
Police officers then used a Taser to subdue and arrest the man.
Police found two women inside the house who had been brutally beaten, according to a report.
There is no word on their condition at this time.
Brewer was booked into the Tulsa Jail on complaints of aggravated assault and battery, interfering with an emergency call, resisting arrest, domestic assault and battery and threatening a violent act.
