Oklahoma City man wins $2 million after winning Powerball lottery
OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man recently became the state’s newest millionaire after winning the Powerball drawing.
Lottery officials say Jon Gaines won $2 million after purchasing a winning ticket at Hefner Stop for the June 13 drawing.
After taxes, Gaines walked away with $1.4 million.
Gaines says the numbers on his ticket were selected through the Easy Pick option.
“Powerplay was the second best $1 I ever spent,” he said.
