So far, Mason Rudolph's career as OSU's quarterback has been judged on three starts. Three games that showed immense potential. And three games that Rudolph can't wait to stop talking about.
Mason Rudolph says, "I'm getting a little tired about the last three games, but it's all I've done so that's all you kinda have to go off me. But I'm excited about Central Michigan and putting those to rest."
And while Rudolph begins to write his own legacy. He's had help every step of the way, with the guy he supplanted as starter, JW Walsh.
"He's kind of like an older brother I'd say. JW is one of the best people I've ever met in my life. He's been a tremendous help." Rudolph says.
JW Walsh says, "I love it. That's exactly what it is. I feel like I've taught him some things. I'm always there for him. He's a great friend to me."
That's not the only Cowboy QB to guide the young gun slinger. Zac Robinson hosted Rudolph this off-season at his Texas QB Academy.
Rudolph says, "He was in the same position I am now. A lot of advice he gave. Just common stuff that we've been through"
Rudolph didn't just try to better himself on the field but off of it. The sophomore took a trip overseas to Israel which he says was a life changing experience and something he will never forget.
Rudolph says of his trip to the Middle East, "It was amazing. Just to read about things you've never seen for twenty something years and then finally getting to see them in person, it's incredible. Really long plane ride, but extremely blessed to be apart of that trip."
