OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City mother was arrested for child endangerment after police say she crashed her car while under the influence.

Early Saturday morning, officers were called to the area of N. Western Ave. and W. Memorial Rd. after a witness reported an alleged drunken driver.

Witnesses told officers that the car was driving into oncoming traffic and they could see young children inside the vehicle.

Before authorities arrived, the caller told dispatchers that the car wrecked into the median.

According to the arrest affidavit, emergency crews were tending to two children while officers spoke with 27-year-old Tocquishia Moore.

Authorities say Moore was very slow to respond to questions and could not pass the field sobriety test.

According to the affidavit, Moore told officers that she was four months pregnant, so she was taken to a nearby hospital before being taken to jail.

Moore was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, child endangerment, driving without a license and failure to show proof of insurance.
