OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man has been arrested after allegedly confessing to playing a role in his wife’s death.

On July 2, 2014, authorities found the body of 58-year-old Susan Hankins inside her home, along N.W. 49th St.

At the time, Hankins was suffering from several serious health issues and her death appeared to be the result of natural circumstances.

On Friday, Hankins’ husband asked to speak with homicide detectives.

Officials say 56-year-old Jimmy Hankins gave them information that criminally implicated him in his wife’s death.

Hankins was arrested on one count of first-degree murder.
