LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A teenager in Florida is accused of killing three people, including his pregnant cousin.

On Tuesday, officers discovered the bodies of 37-year-old Dorla Pitts, 17-year-old Starlett Pitts and 19-year-old Michael Kelly, Jr.

According to the sheriff’s office, all of the victims suffered “repeated, sharp force trauma” to their bodies.

At the time of the attack, Starlett Pitts was pregnant.

As investigators were processing the crime scene, officers arrested Dorla Pitts’ nephew, 19-year-old Brian Omar Hyde, for driving on the wrong side of the road.

However, they noticed that he had “visible blood” on his pants and shoes.

Detectives believe Hyde killed Starlett Pitts and her boyfriend before Dorla Pitts walked in on the attack.

The victim’s husband said he was on the phone with her when she screamed, “Brian! What happened here?”

At that point, he says the line went dead.

Hyde, who officials say illegally entered the United States from Belize, is facing three counts of second-degree murder and one count of killing an unborn child by injury to the mother.
