Midwest City High School was on their field to start the 2015 Oklahoma high school football season the second they could officially start practicing.

The 2015 season started on Monday, August 10, at midnight and the Bombers were one of a growing number of schools practicing at that time to kick off their season.

The Bombers come into 2015 off a 7-4 campaign last season, and a first round playoff loss to Sand Springs in class 6A-II.

The school will look to win it’s sixth state title in 2015, and their first since 1995.

Darrell Hall’s team will take the field with plenty of fresh faces.

Midwest City graduated nine players on the defense side of the ball, and actually lost 12 defensive players to college scholarships.

The Bombers are led on the defense by assistant coach, Jason Sexton.

A rising prospect on Midwest City's defense is Evan Fields, who already holds a few scholarships offers before the start of his junior season.

Get an inside look at the Bombers practice through the eyes of Hall, Sexton and Field in the story above.
