DETROIT -- Papa John's car was stolen over the weekend in Detroit.

Security video shows the trailer carrying the 1972 Camaro Z28 being stolen.

Papa John's owner, John Schnatter, sold the gold and black striped Camaro in 1984 to start his business and help his dad through bankruptcy.

Schnatter eventually sold the car forĀ $25,000, then later bought it back in 2009 for $250,000.
