Deadly shooting at Edmond apartment complex

EDMOND, Okla. – Police say a victim of a gunshot wound was pronounced dead Sunday.

On August 7, police were summoned to an apartment complex near 2600 N. Kelly Ave. regarding an assault with a dangerous weapon.

Officers found Kevin Parker, 41, critically injured lying face down in the parking lot and transported him to a nearby hospital.

Investigators issued an arrest warrant for Roger Berry, Jr.

Parker’s recent death resulted in the complaint against Berry being amended to reflect a charge of murder in the first degree.
