There are multiple reports the Oklahoma City Thunder have signed former Maryland guard Dez Wells.

Wells will be in the Thunder’s training camp with a chance to make the team.

If he doesn’t make it, he could play for the Thunder’s developmental league team, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Wells was going to play for the Washington Wizards in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, but suffered a dislocated thumb in early July and couldn’t play.

Wells is a 6-5 guard who went undrafted after being a first team All-Big Ten pick his senior year at Maryland.
