Police investigating at UCO

EDMOND, Okla. — Students at UCO have been given the all clear after being put on high security alert.

Students say they received robocalls and texts advising them to stay away from the Nigh Center, located in the center of campus.

Police say they were investigating a backpack that was found at a bus stop near the University Center. The backpack had been reported as unattended and suspicious.

The Edmond Police called out their bomb squad. They X-rayed the backpack and determined there was not anything dangerous inside.

Students of the college have been given the all clear.
