HOMEDALE, Idaho – Footage of a fire whirl is lighting up the internet.

The Soda Fire that arose amid the extreme conditions outside of Homedale on the border of Idaho and Oregon was caught on camera August 13.

A firefighter man named Craig Fluer both recorded and uploaded the video to YouTube.

“This sucker was shooting flames 100 ft in the air before it passed right in front of the line, all while dropping hot dirt and ash on our helmets,” Fluer said in an Instagram post.

Reportedly, there were numerous firefighters fighting the fire and some damage.
