OKLAHOMA CITY – A test drive turned into an alleged carjacking when a driver kicked out a salesman from a car, according to police.

Police said a man took a cruise in a vehicle from Bob Howard alongside a car salesman around 5:30 p.m. Monday.

According to police, the suspect was a black male with shaved eyebrows and facial makeup, wearing a black shirt and tight leather-type pants. The car was a cream-colored 4-door Mercedes.

Police said the suspect, then, told the salesman to get out of the vehicle near Hefner and Broadway. That’s when he took off.

The car was later left at a gas station at N.E. 36th and Kelley Avenue.

According to police, the suspect was arrested and taken to the Oklahoma City Police Department to be interviewed around 8:30 p.m.

Police said it is the same suspect from the bank robbery earlier today.

He has been identified as 20-year-old Demetrious Nero.

According to police, Nero had started probation for assault on an officer just last Friday.
