OKLAHOMA CITY -- A search warrant revealed new details in the tragic death of the Oklahoma Labor Commissioner.

Christian Costello remains in the Oklahoma County Jail, he's accused of stabbing his father, Mark Costello, to death.

A search warrant points out that labor commissioner Mark Costello's death was not random or unplanned.

According to documents, Christian Costello went to Braum's knowing what his next move was.

The condos where Christian Costello was staying were only walking distance from the Braum's; court documents show the attack was planned prior to the assault

"I read about that, but wow, I didn't know it was this close to me!" Lannie Moore, a neighbor said.

Officials searched the condo today, but nothing was removed from the property.

Neighbors were shocked to find out they lived only feet from the man accused of murdering his own father.

"I didn't know the guy, I might have seen him every one in a while," Moore said.

We knocked on his door, no one answered. But we did notice someone had painted the inside of the condo windows in red paint.

"It's pretty odd," Moore says.

Odd pieces to a larger, troubling puzzle, investigators are trying to piece together.

"My condolences, just about all I can say," Moore said.

We did speak with other neighbors who would not go on camera. They told us Christian was a good man and a good friend.

A vigil for Mark Costello will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. on the south steps of the state capitol.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Alliance on Mental Illness Oklahoma.
