Police are asking for help identifying a woman who allegedly dumped a litter of kittens at a Norman Walmart.

It happened Wednesday afternoon at the Walmart on the 2500 block of Classen Blvd.

Police said the woman entered the store, with seven kittens in a container.

She dropped the kittens off in a grocery basket near the entrance and left.

Of the seven abandoned kittens, three were picked up by Walmart shoppers soon afterwards.

The remaining four have been moved to Norman Animal Welfare.

Officials have released surveillance photos of the woman reportedly involved in the case.
