OKLAHOMA CITY – An OU student was arrested after he allegedly touched a woman in an inappropriate manner at a fraternity party.

On Aug. 29, officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department were called to the Diamond Ballroom on an alleged sexual assault.

The victim told police that she was attending a fraternity party with students from the University of Oklahoma when someone slipped a hand under her skirt.

The victim said she was wearing a cheer-leading outfit that consisted of tights underneath a skirt.

“She then felt someone reach around her side, going underneath her skirt,” the arrest affidavit reads. “The subject did not place his hands underneath the tights so the only touching was on the outside of her tights but underneath her skirt.”

Authorities arrested 21-year-old Luke Kiron on one count of sexual battery.

“The University of Oklahoma takes any such report seriously, regardless of location. OU has been made aware of this matter, and the appropriate OU officials are looking into the situation,” a statement from Catherine Bishop, vice president of public affairs for the university, read.
