Jessa (Duggar) Seewald seems to be publicly breaking ranks with her brother Josh Duggar after his latest scandal came to light.

Seewald recently shared a post on her social media pages written by her father-in-law Michael Seewald, in which he calls Josh a “hypocritical Christian” after Josh admitted to subscribing to the cheating website Ashley Madison.

“Go to  and read the post on the Ashley Madison scandal,” the “19 Kids and Counting” reality star tweeted.

In the post, Michael Seewald writes that although he stood by Josh during his child molestation scandal, he now believes Josh is not a changed man.

“After hearing of Josh’s scandal when he was a teenager, I publicly stated that Josh appeared to be a changed man, was walking above reproach, and living out the faith that he professed,” wrote Michael. “I stood in solidarity, encouraging him to use the scandal to build humility and grace. Sadly, he had deceived us all.”

Michael Seewald writes that Josh was a “pretender” who was not living the Christian life he claimed to be.

“He claimed to be a Christian, but by his deeds he has suggested otherwise,” he wrote. “With the name of God on his lips he lived a covert and extensive lifestyle of evil. While proudly saying things like, ‘Our family is like the epitome of conservative values,’ he was looking at porn and soliciting affairs. He took a job at the Family Research Council that exists to promote the traditional family, all the while undermining his own family by violating his marriage covenant.”

Jessa Seewald was reportedly one of girls Josh molested as a teenager.

She had previously stood by her brother throughout his child molestation scandal, even telling Fox News’ Megyn Kelly that Josh is not a “child molester or a pedophile or a rapist.”

“Josh was a boy, a young boy in puberty and a little too curious about girls,” Jessa said. “And that got him into some trouble. And he made some bad choices, but, really, the extent of it was mild – inappropriate touching on fully clothed victims, most of it while [the] girls were sleeping.”

After Josh admitted to being unfaithful to his wife and having a secret porn addiction, his family released a statement saying Josh is entering a long-term treatment center for his addictions.

The statement read in part:

As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son’s decisions and actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others. He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear. Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance and sincere change. In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives counsel and help for her own heart and future.

Jessa recently addressed her brother’s family scandal over the weekend at the Southern Women’s Show in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“You just have to keep your focus and trust God,” Jessa told PEOPLE.
