OKLAHOMA CITY — A woman allegedly hit a vehicle with her car and took off, leading police on a high speed chase through Oklahoma City.
OHP troopers say were sitting in the parking lot of a restaurant near Memorial and Portland when someone approached them, saying they were the victim of a hit and run.
The victim gave a description of the of suspect vehicle…a white Ford Mustang.
A short time later, a woman driving a car that matched the description was seen taking a turn onto NW 150th and Portland, according to OHP.
When troopers tried to stop the suspect, she sped off. Troopers say they reached speeds over 100 miles per hour while chasing the suspect.
The woman tried to turn west onto 150th at a high speed when she sideswiped a white Dodge Challenger, according to officials.
Reports say there was an infant in the backseat of the Mustang, along with two other passengers and the driver.
Capt. Timmons says the driver of the suspect car is the only one who has been arrested. Her name has not been released yet.
EMSA says no one was transported to the hospital.
