OKLAHOMA CITY - If you love growing fresh herbs for salads and recipes, you may be dealing with too much of a good thing right now.
Linda Vater has some tips on how to save those herbs for the coming winter months.
You can always dry herbs, but there is nothing like fresh herbs.
The easiest way is to put them on a baking sheet individually and freeze them. Once they are frozen, then put each one in a sealed bag.
You can also make pesto and put them in ice-cube trays, creating individual portions for pasta that will stay fresh.
