2 students killed in horrific school bus crash in Houston

HOUSTON – Two students were killed Tuesday morning in a crash involving a school bus in Houston, a school official said.

While the details of exactly what happened are still being investigated, officials say the accident involved four vehicles.

Authorities say the bus crashed through the guard rail then flipped over on its side when it landed on the road below.

One female student died in the crash.

Another female student was transported to the hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

Two male students and the bus driver were also transported to area hospitals.

No names were immediately released.

The bus was headed to Houston’s Furr High School when the crash happened.
