OKLAHOMA CITY - Police need your help identifying an alleged burglar.

Oklahoma City Police said the man tried to make his way through the front door of a business in the 800 block of S.W. 7th.

All the way up till closing time, employees at Grecian Marble and Granite are hard at work. But, not long ago, one man had a hard time getting in.

"I guess, he stood back, started throwing stuff at the glass," said Matt Stevens, owner of the business.

It was a little after eight in the morning that Matt found the mess. His business's front door was shattered with thousands of dollars in equipment missing.

Surveillance cameras captured both the employee clean-up and what happened hours earlier.

"Backed up my footage, saw the guy pull in and start breaking glass," Stevens said.

The alleged burglar is seen throwing an object several times at the glass door, hammering it with a rock, cutting through it with a knife, before eventually just giving up.

Undeterred though, police said the man made entry through the garage door, stealing tens of thousands in property.

"It was about 24-$25,000 when we figure in the damages to the door," Stevens said. "It was bad. I was pretty pissed when I came in and saw everything."

Police are asking anyone with information on the man's identity to contact Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
