OKLAHOMA CITY – A classic staple on Oklahoma City’s food scene closed several years ago, but fans may still be able to enjoy a few of their favorite menu items.

Coit’s Root Beer Stand opened in 1954 and quickly spread to three locations across Oklahoma City.

While it remained a favorite by locals, the owners said they simply couldn’t run the business any longer.

When the last of the drive-ins closed in 2012, many Oklahomans believed they had seen the last of their memorable root beer floats and fresh food.

However, it seems you may still be able to get a few of your favorites in a new form.

According to posts on social media, Coit’s is now operating out of a food truck.
