One dead following shooting in southeast Oklahoma City, alleged shooter arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY –  A man has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in southeast Oklahoma City.

Monday afternoon, police say a man was shot and killed near S.E. Grand and Lindsay.

That man was later identified as Cameron Lee Cox, 50.

Monday evening, police say they arrested Alan Strickland, 52, for the murder.

Investigators say they were able to determine that Strickland walked up to Cox’s home and shot him, then walked away.

Police are still investigating.
