SHEFFIELD, England – Oftentimes, breakups can be messy.

A woman named “Lisa” had enough of her cheating husband, “Paul” and decided to let the world know about his transgressions.

The very public breakup took place on a billboard along a busy highway in northern England.

“To my cheating husband Paul. You deserve each other. When you get home I won’t be there. Enjoy your drive to work! Lisa,” the sign read.

Mark Catterall, with the advertising company who sold Lisa the space for the sign, says she ordered it two weeks ago and “it was obviously planned in advance, she obviously had a date in mind.”

Catterall says the message was posted during rush hour traffic on Wednesday.

“It’s the busiest road in the city of Sheffield, with most of the traffic traveling to the city center,” he said. “It’s one of the most prominent billboard locations in the city.”
