Plane registered to Yukon address crashes in Texas, two confirmed fatalities

GRANBURY, Texas – Two people have died after a small plane crashed and caught fire in Granbury, Texas.

The Federal Aviation Administration told KXAS that around 7 p.m. a single-engine aircraft went down shortly after takeoff and burst into flames at Granbury Municpal Airport.

Officials say the plane that crashed is registered to an address in Yukon, Oklahoma.

The two men inside the plane were killed. They have not been identified.

The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
