OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Police Department is asking for your help identifying a man who allegedly robbed a local Walmart.

Around 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, police say a black male wearing a black long sleeve shirt with red shorts walked into the Walmart in the 1500 block of S.W. 59th and robbed a cashier.

The cashier told police that the man was paying for a pack of cigarettes when the suspect leaned over the register and took about $220.

Although he never saw the weapon, the cashier told police that the suspect told him multiples times that he “had a gun.”

The suspect then ran out of the store and headed southbound.

Surveillance video captured the alleged crime on camera.

If you recognize the man, please call Crime Stoppers at (405)235-7300.
