OKLAHOMA CITY – Police will increase their presence at a metro area school after a threatening note was found Friday morning.

Putnam City North parents say they started receiving robo-calls around 7:45 a.m. saying a custodian had found a threatening note written on a bathroom wall.

School officials say classes will go on as normal.

Police presence will be increased at the school throughout the day.

If parents would like to pick up their children, school officials say students will be allowed to have an excused absence.

This week several schools have received threats of violence, some more than once, causing a disruption in school.

We can also confirm a threatening note was found in a Del City High School bathroom late Thursday afternoon.
