OKLAHOMA CITY – A unique grocery store that has made a name for itself across the country is headed to Oklahoma City.

Trader Joe’s will be moving to a new location in the Nichols Hills Plaza in 2016.

The 10,000-square-foot store will include food and beverages that are commonplace and a few that are exotic.

Trader Joe’s carries domestic and imported foods like artisan breads, Arabica bean coffees, international frozen entrees, pure juices, fresh crop nuts, deli items and vitamins.

Company officials say the store doesn’t have “sales,” adding that the store will only change prices when costs change.

Trader Joe’s is expected to open its doors in Oklahoma City in the second half of 2016.
