OKLAHOMA CITY - An Oklahoma City man was arrested after allegedly taking photos up a woman's dress while she was shopping.

When officers were called to the Marshall's clothing store, located along W. I-240 Service Rd., on Oct. 10, they were met by a woman who said that a stranger was taking pictures with his cell phone under her dress.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim said that she was shopping at Marshall's and squatted down to look at something on a low rack.

"She had squatted down, she was bending down, looking at some merchandise when she felt something on her dress move," Knight said.

At the time, the victim told officers that she ignored Olivas and continued looking at items.

However, she says she felt her dress move again and "saw a cell phone between her legs pointing up towards her crotch."

"There was a man slipping a cell phone underneath there, trying to take inappropriate pictures," Knight says.

She told police that she grabbed the cell phone, contacted store security and called 911.

"She very quickly took the phone from him, confronted him and security was there in the store and also detained him until officers got there," Knight said.

A good effort by the victim and the managers at the Marshalls, to catch this man in the act.

"It's also a sad fact that in this day and time with this type of technology that people have to be aware that this is going on," Knight says. "If you're a female in any type of a situation like this, if you feel something on your dress or on your clothing, always be aware of your surroundings and make sure something like this isn't going on."

Olivas was arrested on a Peeping Tom charge.
