OKLAHOMA CITY — A man walked into an Oklahoma City bar dressed as Elvis, and stayed in character throughout the night on Tuesday.

Bobby Eldredge, 61, went to the Route 66 Roadhouse in the 4300 block of NW 39th for a few drinks.

Reports say Eldredge walked in wearing an Elvis costume, complete with a black wig and glasses.

By the time police arrived, they say he smelled like alcohol and “rambled on and made very little sense.”

Police say in between his ramblings and taunting the officer who arrested him, Eldredge would sing Elvis songs.

Not seeming to be ‘all shook up,’ Bobby reportedly thanked the officer for not putting his handcuffs on too tightly, and then threatened to hurt him.

Bobby Eldredge was arrested for being drunk in public and was taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
