LOS ANGELES – One Oklahoma City resident sang his heart out Monday on The Voice as the battle rounds continue.

In this phase, the coaches pit two of their own team members against each other in a dueling duet.

Team Gwen’s Korin Bukowski of Miami squared off with Chase Kerby of Oklahoma City.

The pair was given the song ‘Samson’ by Regina Spektor.

After the vocal face-off, each coach must choose which artist from their team is the strongest, and has the option of stealing losing artists from an opposing coach.

Gwen chose Korin.

Each coach has two steals during the battle rounds.

Unfortunately, Chase was saved by a steal, so his time on The Voice has come to an end.

Those who make it through the battle rounds will proceed to the knockout rounds.
