Attempted carjacking in N.E. OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – One person is recovering after two men tried to carjack him Friday morning.

Around 2 a.m., police say two male suspects rear ended a car near N.E. 36th and Coltrane.

After rear ending the victim, police say the two men got out of their vehicle and approached the driver.

The men allegedly tried to get into the victim’s car.

When they couldn’t open the door, they reportedly fired shots into the window.

The driver sped off and drove to a nearby police station.

When he arrived at the police station, he told police he thought he had been shot.

Officers checked him out and found that the victim suffered minor injuries from the shattered glass.

The man was taken to the hospital to be treated.

Police say they are still searching for the two suspects.

Officers say they were driving a dark-colored Tahoe at the time of the incident.
