Update: Lockdown lifted at Moore schools

MOORE, Okla. – Multiple schools in Moore were placed on lockdown as police searched for an armed robbery suspect Monday morning.

Police say an armed suspect robbed a store near Santa Fe and 19th early Monday morning.

As a precaution, Plaza Towers, Oak Ridge Elementary, Southmoore High School and Briarwood Elementary were placed on lockdown as authorities searched for the suspect.

A short time later, officials with Moore Public Schools says the lockdown was lifted.

However, police say the suspect is still on the loose.
