OKLAHOMA CITY - This week's child is an absolute sweetheart who has been under foster care for six years and is ready to find a permanent family.
Dareis is 12-years-old but, for half of his young life, he hasn't had a permanent home.
Dareis is a quiet young man, who is well-mannered and willing to try new things.
"I play with my little brothers, my little foster brothers all of the time," he said. "We play imaginary games, and I just go with it."
One of his favorite pastimes is WWE wrestling with Shawn Michaels.
"His switch move - when he kicks them, they just fall to the ground," Dareis said.
One of his dreams is to meet his favorite basketball player, who happens to be an Oklahoma City star.
"Meet Russell Westbrook or like go to a Thunder game," Dareis said. "I watch it on TV. I haven't been to it yet."
When Dareis grows up, he has two careers in mind.
"Be a basketball player or help people,” Dareis said. "Help kids that are worse than my position, who need help with a home or something."
For now, Dareis just wants to find a home where he belongs.
"I don't want to be in foster care for the rest of my young age," Dareis said. "It's boring."
He said he is simply hoping for a family to help him grow.
"A mom and a dad,” Dareis said. “I want to be the youngest."
He also wants a voice of reason when he's going through tough times.
"Like if I get mad or something, they can just help me talk about it and help me calm down,” Dareis said.
