OWASSO, Okla. -- An Owasso couple says something underneath their home is forcing them out.

Max and Casey Murphy loved their home when they bought it back in 2013.

“We’re raising a family.  We’re like 'this is perfect for our children,'” said Max Murphy.

They did everything they thought someone buying a house should do to make sure there were no defects.

But it wasn’t enough.

“We did an inspection. We thought we were good, you know... no, no,” said Max.  “Never did we fathom that we’d have to worry about what lurks below.”

What was seeping up through the ground onto the Murphy’s property and the warning they have for other homeowners – Thursday night at 10.
