A lot of people have fun recreating their childhood photographs with their family or friends.

The Midwest City Police Department took some time Thursday to do the same.

More than 130 employees gathered to do something that hasn't been done in 30 years: a group department photo.

Out of the group, only four officers from the original photo remain with the department.

Chief Brandon Clabes, who was also in the original photo, said this probably won't happen again in his lifetime.

The camera equipment used three decades ago doesn't even exist anymore, so four different cameras were brought in to capture the image.

While everyone was getting their picture taken, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Department pitched in to help keep the streets of Midwest City safe.

The department K-9 officers were also on hand, including well-known Joey, who seemed excited about the photo session.
