Police: Officer-involved shooting in Norman

UPDATE: According to Norman Police, authorities responded to a home in the 1700 block of Classen Blvd to an individual threatening to shoot people.

Once on the scene, officers made contact with the suspect who became uncooperative. Police fired at the suspect, and the individual was taken to an area hospital. Police confirm that no officers were injured in the incident.

Authorities remain on scene investigating, and more information will be released when it becomes available.

NORMAN, Okla. — There has been an officer-involved shooting in Norman.

Police say the incident happened at the intersection of Classen and Lindsey around 6 p.m. Sunday.
