UPDATE: 12-year-old Oklahoma City boy found safe

OKLAHOMA CITY – A missing 12-year-old child, who police say ran away from his school early Wednesday morning, was found shortly after the information was released.

According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, 12-year-old Carlos Lopez ran away from the Positive Changes school, located at 744 S.E. 25th St.

Lopez was last seen wearing khaki pants, a white shirt and a blue hoodie.

Shortly after 12 p.m., officers with the department found Lopez.
