MOORE, Okla. – Two people were found dead inside an apartment in Moore this weekend.

Officers got the 911 call on Sunday evening, which led them to the Continental Apartments. At the complex, they found two people dead inside one of the units.

“There was like six cop cars out here, fire truck, ambulances, coroner,” said Shelly.

“Inside we found a Hispanic male in his early 30’s and a Hispanic female early 50’s, both deceased with gunshot wounds,” said Sgt. Jeremy Lewis, with the Moore Police Department.

Police said the victims were a couple and believe their deaths were a murder-suicide.

“The male possibly shot the female and then shot himself,” said Lewis.

Police think the bodies had been there since Saturday.

Neighbors are shocked to hear the news, especially those who knew the couple.

“Very friendly, never caused any problems, you never heard any problems from them. It’s surprising, it just goes to show you never know what goes on behind closed doors,” said Shelly. “My heart goes out to their families, to their friends. This must be very hard to deal with.”

Moore police said the couple was not in their system for any domestic-related issues.

Police also confirm the man and woman were not from Oklahoma.
