MIDWEST CITY, Okla. — The family of a 19-year-old man, who had been missing since Nov. 26, has called off its search.

Brenner Wolfe had last been seen Nov. 26 near E. Reno and Douglas Blvd.

Family and friends had been searching for Wolfe ever since, organizing and documenting their efforts on a Facebook page.

Midwest City Police confirmed they had found a body in a creek in a wooded area behind the S and B Burger on S. Douglas but would not say if that body belonged to Wolfe.

Officers say the body was discovered by people searching for the missing person.

The death appears to be weather-related and doesn’t seem suspicious, officers said.

When Wolfe went missing, the Midwest City Police Department noted he “did not have any extra clothing that would prepare him for the current weather.”

A medical examiner will conduct a full report.
