UTAH — Michael Cavallari, brother of “The Hills” former star Kristin Cavallari, has been found two weeks after his car was found abandoned near an interstate.

Michael’s Honda Civic was reportedly found wrecked and abandoned on l-70 on Nov. 27. The Grand County Sheriff’s Office searched the immediate area, but he was nowhere to be found.

A body believed to be Michael’s was found around 10:30 a.m. in a “steep and very rocky area” near exit 175 on l-70, according to a statement from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office.

The body is being transported to the Office of the Utah Medical Examiner for positive identification and to determine the cause of death.

“We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time,” Kristin Cavallari said in a statement to E! News. “We have just been informed by the authorities my brother’s body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving.”
